SHORT-TERM TRAINING APPLICATION

Full-time Training in Anaheim

SHORT-TERM TRAINING INFORMATION

The Full-time Training in Anaheim is open to saints who would like to join us for a period of time less than two weeks.

Dates: Applicants can apply for any dates throughout the term (see Dates and Events) with the following exceptions:

Spring Program: For the spring term, FTTA will have a special program during weeks in which we have a large number of short-termers. The program schedule will begin on Monday at 5:00pm and conclude on Saturday at 12:00pm of each week.

Submitting Application: If you are interested in visiting FTTA short-term, please fill out this form in detail, sign it and obtain an elder's recommendation. Upon receipt and acceptance of the application, we will send a confirmation email to you. The application should be completed at least 7 days in advance of the selected training period. The application should only be e-mailed to our office if the elder does not submit a recommendation online. Our e-mail is [email protected].

Accommodation and Costs: Accommodation and meals will cost $30 per night. If you will not be needing accommodation, meals will be charged as follows: $6 for breakfast, $6 for lunch, and $8 for dinner. Meals will be prepared for you based upon your arrival and departure times; we expect you for these meals. Breakfast is served at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 7:55 a.m. on Lord’s Day; lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and 11:45 a.m. on Saturday; dinner is served at 5:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Please note, no meals are served in the Training from Lord's Day dinner until Monday dinner. Payment is required at the time of registration. Bedding and towels are provided if you should need them.

Attire: In order to maintain the uplifted atmosphere in the Training, we suggest that clothing be similar to that worn by the FTTA trainees. Brothers should wear button-down shirts with a collar, a tie, and conservative pants. Sisters should wear modest shirts with sleeves and conservative skirts (extending at least 3 inches below the knee when sitting). Modest pants may be permitted for certain gospel activities on college campuses. Closed-toe shoes are also encouraged. The trainees should bring their Bible, hymnbook, and a notepad.

Arrival: Saints should plan to arrive during FTTA office hours, which are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. If you must arrive outside of these hours, please arrange your own hospitality, and inform us in advance of your estimated arrival time to the training center by emailing us at [email protected] or by calling us at (714) 991-4688. Please also let us know of any change in plans that might delay or prevent you from coming to the Training. Please note that FTTA cannot provide transportation to and from the area airports.

Many full-time trainees received their burden to be trained by coming short-term. May the Lord use this opportunity for His good pleasure.
