- The last two weeks of each term—after the Saturday two weeks prior to graduation
- Semi-annual trainings—Staying with FTTA is arranged by the sending church through the LSM office at the time of semi-annual training registration
- Interims—during the break between terms
- Applications for a period that is longer than two weeks will only be accepted through special fellowship or circumstances and only for non-international applicants.
Spring Program: For the spring term, FTTA will have a special program during weeks in which we have a large number of short-termers. The program schedule will begin on Monday at 5:00pm and conclude on Saturday at 12:00pm of each week.
Submitting Application: If you are interested in visiting FTTA short-term, please fill out this form in detail, sign it and obtain an elder's recommendation. Upon receipt and acceptance of the application, we will send a confirmation email to you. The application should be completed at least 7 days in advance of the selected training period. The application should only be e-mailed or faxed to our office if the elder does not submit a recommendation online. Our fax number is (714) 991-8537 and our email is office@ftta.org.
Accommodation and Costs: Accommodation and meals will cost $25 per night. If you will not be needing accommodation, meals will be charged as follows: $6 for breakfast, $6 for lunch, and $8 for dinner. Meals will be prepared for you based upon your arrival and departure times; we expect you for these meals. Breakfast is served at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday through Lord’s Day; lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday; dinner is served at 5:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Please note, no meals are served in the Training from Lord's Day dinner until Monday dinner. Payment is required at the time of registration. Bedding and towels are provided if you should need them.
Attire: In order to maintain the uplifted atmosphere in the Training, we suggest that clothing be similar to that worn by the FTTA trainees. Brothers should wear button-down shirts with a collar, a tie, and conservative pants. Sisters should wear button-down shirts with a collar and conservative skirts (extending at least 3 inches below the knee when sitting). Closed-toe shoes are also encouraged. The trainees should bring their Bible, hymnbook, and a notepad.
- If you arrive by car: Please come directly to 2431 W. La Palma Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92801 and follow signs to the FTTA Office on the west side of the Training Center to receive your packet and information.
- If you arrive by airplane: Please see https://ftta.org/visit-ftta/shuttle-information.php for shuttle information.
Many full-time trainees received their burden to be trained by coming short-term. May the Lord use this opportunity for His good pleasure.
